Recent FADA graduate Sarah Pagani designed the Meditasi Chair for her final year project to suit travellers looking to relax in a communal space such as an airport. The steel framed chair includes angled side panels to block out noise and a space underneath for luggage.
Sarah’s latest creation continues her work of using design to solve everyday problems. Her previous projects have included the Ataraxy, a specially designed space to soothe anxious pets.

A FADA postgraduate student has won a national competition run by London brand and design agency JDO.
Lisa Eder, a Communication Design: Graphic Design MA student, beat around 300 entrants to win the 2016 JDO Raw design competition, aimed at finding the country’s best emerging design talent. The challenge was to design a drink concept to be sold at Bestival, the Isle of Wight music festival.
