A journey of observing human behaviour and being able to for once, take the time to take in our surroundings in public. We lead our daily lives by being revolved around our own world, but we rarely take the chance to stop and think what others are doing and this was a great opportunity to do just that.

My notes and research into human behaviour before I had started to take photographs, sketches and videos..

A lot of the still images I had taken in various locations in London involve the focus on hand gestures. It reveals that sometimes it’s easy to try and get the overall emotion or atmosphere when visually you see human hand gestures.

It was intersting to see how poeple act around once another, how they may or even may not use hand gestures. It was difficult to record such a particular aspect of humans, their hand gestures. But the more I focussed on this, the more I became interested in it. And it’s almost like hands were all I noticed on poeple!

The I began to see how poeple acted differently when they are stressed rushing around getting tubes, to those who are relaxed in a coffee shop or a restaurant.There seems to be more hand gestures during food or at coffee shops because we are more transifxed in the poeple we are with and talking and expressing to them.
