Harris's continuous series of collages, prints and structures began in 2008. Influenced by the global architectural visions of the 1960’s in particular The Continuous Monument by the Italian architect group Superstudio and Constant NieuwenhuysNew Babylon, the work explored the idea of a continuous defense system of potential architectural interventions / ruins that occur across an historical, present or future landscape.

This developed into a continuous movement away from a reliance on the found image to a focus on the materiality, transformation and processes related to his practice and use of collage. This was informed by a deep interest in the journey of printed matter, from the commercial to the unique and reappropriation back to the multiple.
Utopian themes of landscape and deconstructed architecture continued to inform the work, leading to a continuous state, imagined schemes of social and political futures.

Harris has exhibited widely nationally and internationally.
