Last week MA Fashion was the first in a series of shows from the MA’s at Kingston just in time for London Fashion Week. With sponsor Farrow and Ball, the students worked to launch the company’s new colours and outfits complete with spray-painted Dr Marten boots.
Creative manager Charlie Cosby from Farrow and Ball commented: ”They took our nine new colours and created completely conceptual outfits while still remaining sensitive to our brand. We were incredibly excited to see the lid lifted on the secret collection on the fashion show runway.”
The final year students have also been putting the finishing touches to a range of other collections showcasing their creative talents. Eleven of them were selected to unveil their work on the runway and there was also an exhibition featuring, among other projects, fabrics printed with the help of remote control cars.
