The ideas for our Manifesto

  • Manifesto: idea 1 (Jennifer)

As designers we believe in providing solutions through our designs to improve the lives of its possible users. One of our main concerns is to maintain harmony between aesthetic and function, making them the key approach when creating a successful product, which needs to be both attractive and effective.

We aim to be innovative whilst still aware of how we can be sustainable when creating. One of our main concerns is the impact our products will have in society and how we can make sure they will make living easier and more interesting.

We also believe technology is a key when designing. Through extensive research and experimentation of new and upcoming elements it is possible to break barriers and come up with new ideas.

By being aware that all we design may not be perfect at the first try, we commit to accept failures as a part of the design process and not be defeated by them.

S U N P : Smile and Sympathize, Use, New, Participate

  1. To make people Smile and Sympathize!

The first impression is the most important thing to attract consumers. To make them smile, the product or service should be interesting and witty. At the same time, they should sympathize in terms of functionality in a closer look.

  1. To make people Use it without overthinking!

Good design is intuitive and understandable; it should make people comfortable around it.

  1. To make people enjoy the New!

New products and services need to provide exciting experiences for people. Designers should make clients enjoy their creations by guiding them in a kind and interesting way.

  1. To make people Participate in the process of design!

The first design is not always perfect. Consumers can participate in the creation of new projects and it should be like a journey for both the designers and users.

* My idea was denied at a first instance. This got me a little worried about the type of direction we might be going.
