The MA Fashion: Knit pathway offers a specialism in an area for which Kingston University has recognised success.
Students will follow the same programme as MA Fashion, however specialist projects will be offered within existing modules to those students wishing to specialise in knit.
MA Fashion has close links with industry including: Evans Arcadia Group; The Women's Institute; Woolmark; UKHKA (UK Hand Knitting Association); and Abercrombie & Fitch.
Kingston University has two digital knit machines with a fully trained knit technician. Facilities also include dubied machines, domestic knit machines, electronic linkers and overlockers.
Graduates can expect to accept positions as Knitwear designers, textile/swatch designer, fashion designer, yarn developer, research and development, retail and marketing.
